This Sunday afternoon heritage walk will explore the history of the Ferguslie Mills and houses associated with the Coats family in the West End of Paisley. The Fergulsie mills were the largest thread mills in europe, if not the world and today only a few of the buildings survive. Using images of the site as we walk around the vast scale of the complex will be brought to life.
This walk will start at the gates of Woodside Cemetery at 2pm. we will finish 4pm at Maxwelton.
